Phix

Phix is a pharmaceutical company that appears in GTA 6.

It is the manufacturer of Angstipan, a psychoactive drug that claims ‘it cures emotions.’ A large billboard for Angstipan can be seen in Trailer 1, listing some severe side effects.

According to the advertisement, which refers to the drug as “America’s favorite dissociative,” patients aged 18-65 should take it with extreme caution. The small text indicates that a sudden urge to blink caused by the medication could be life-threatening.

Phix, which likely manufactures a number of medicines throughout Leonida, appears to be based on the real-world pharmaceutical company, Pfizer. 

The company’s name appears to be a reference to ‘fix,’ which can refer to both mending a problem and a dose of an addictive drug taken for recreation.
