iFruit is a brand of smartphone that appears in GTA 6.
Manufactured by Fruit Computers, these phones were first referenced in GTA 4, but they became usable for the first time in GTA 5.
The brand is an obvious parody of Apple and its iPhone line-up. Throughout the GTA franchise, the iFruit 3G, iFruit 9iX, and iFruit 8 models appear, each based on a real phone developed by Apple.
Like Apple itself, Fruit Computers began as a PC manufacturer, which expanded into mobile phones that run on its own operating system, Fruit OS.
In GTA 6, iFruit brand phones are confirmed to return, and multiple NPCs in Trailer 1 are seen using mobile devices that resemble more modern iPhone variants.
In addition, a notice on Uncle Jack’s Liquor store door window reveals that the store accepts iFruit Pay, a reference to Apple Pay. This reveals that citizens of Leonida will now be able to pay for products using their phones, though they may still carry cash too.
