The Molotov Cocktail is a thrown weapon in GTA 6.
This item has appeared in every Grand Theft Auto title since GTA 2, being one of the most basic throwable weapons in the franchise.
The weapon itself consists of a bottle of liquor with a rag blocking the bottle's spout. When used, the player lights the rag on fire before throwing it at their target. The bottle then smashes upon contact with an object, causing the alcohol inside to set fire to the surrounding area.
Enemies in the vicinity of a Molotov Cocktail explosion will be set alight, causing major damage over time.
The Molotov Cocktail has only been confirmed for GTA 6 via the September 2022 leaks, which showed them being obtainable via a Merryweather Ammo Crate Drop.
