Questions people ask
How long is GTA 6?
Rockstar hasn’t said. The main story, main + sides and 100% times go up on this page once players have finished the game after launch.
Is GTA 6 80 hours long?
Not officially. Rob Nelson, co-studio head at Rockstar North, told The New York Times his playthrough, finished in February, took about 80 hours. It covered the main story and some optional goals that change how the story plays out, but it wasn’t a 100% run, and he didn’t say how much of the side content he did. That’s one developer’s run, not the length of the main story.
Is GTA 6 longer than GTA 5?
We don’t know yet. The comparison on this page shows how long GTA 5, Red Dead Redemption 2 and earlier Rockstar games take, so you can line GTA 6 up against them once its times are in.
Which Rockstar game takes longest to beat?
Of the games compared here, Red Dead Redemption 2 takes longest by some way, in every play style. The bars above show each game on the same scale.
Where do these times come from?
For the earlier games, averages of times players have reported, rounded to the half hour. For GTA 6, the times go up after launch, and only a time Rockstar publishes is marked confirmed.
