According to the website, the town of Ambrosia, in Ambrosia County, is largely financially supported by Allied Crystal.

The Allied Crystal Sugar Refinery employs a large percentage of the town's population, giving Allied Crystal a significant amount of influence over the industrial area.

The company is shown to be endorsing political candidate Erin Henshaw, with an array of signs telling residents to elect them as the next mayor.

In the political signage, the company refers to itself as 'The Sweet Lifeblood of Ambrosia,' a nod to its sugar production.

Allied Crystal is likely inspired by the real U.S. Sugar, a company that owns a sugar mill and refinery in Clewiston, Florida.
