The Raccoon is an animal that can be found in GTA 6.
Raccoons were first confirmed to be in the game with the release of Trailer 2, which showed the creature rooting through some nearby bins in one of the trailer's opening shots.
A Raccoon more clearly appears in the official screenshots of Mount Kalaga National Park, where it is shown to be living close to a popular dirt biking location.
Raccoons are common throughout Leonida, making their home in both urban areas and a variety of natural habitats with a reliable water source. They are typically most active during nighttime, but it appears that GTA 6 will allow players to spot the creatures during the day too.
The real Miami, Florida, on which Vice City is based, offers tours to Raccoon Island, also known as Sandspur Island. It is unclear whether GTA 6 will feature an area inspired by this real-world location that is heavily populated by Raccoons.
