Hunting is an activity that can be completed in GTA 6.
It is most commonly performed in Mount Kalaga National Park and
Grassrivers.
In a screenshot from Mount Kalaga, Rockstar Games shows off two hunters armed with long-range weaponry, who appear to have taken down a White-Tailed Deer.
In Grassrivers, another image shows a group of locals on a fanboat with powerful firearms, who have killed an American Alligator and
Bobcat.
Like in real life, there appear to be laws regulating the activity. One screenshot shows the police chasing down a group of poachers who have killed several Alligators, presumably without a license or in a restricted area.
Hunting previously appeared in GTA 5, though it could only be accessed by Trevor Philips. Players could earn money for tracking and killing specific wildlife, while in the Hunting mini-game.
However, animals could be hunted outside of the activity too, though there are no tangible rewards for doing so.
