Dodo
The Mammoth Dodo is a seaplane that features in GTA 6.
The plane appears heavily in the game's marketing, featuring twice in Trailer 1 alongside multiple appearances in Trailer 2 and Rockstar Games' official screenshots.
The Dodo first appeared in Grand Theft Auto 3, before returning in San Andreas. However, in the 3D Universe titles, the plane is not built for landing on water (though some titles contain a seaplane variant known as the Skimmer).
The Mammoth Dodo, as it appears in HD Universe titles such as GTA 5 and GTA 6, is now exclusively a seaplane inspired by the real de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver.
It can take off and land on both the ground or water, courtesy of wheels contained in its pontoons, the buoyant structures attached to the base of the aircraft. It is these same pontoons that add weight to the aircraft, decreasing its agility and maximum speed compared to other small planes.
