Despite all of the buzz around the potential GTA 6 Trailer 2 song being Ring My Bell by Anita Ward, it looks like this won’t be the case after all!

The first trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 dropped in December, and it has gotten gamers all over the world excited about Rockstar Game’s next GTA. In fact, almost as soon as players had finished watching the first trailer, they were speculating about Trailer 2!

While Rockstar Games itself has not revealed any information about Trailer 2 yet, there have been a number of rumors and predictions floating around the internet about it. This includes what the next trailer may contain, as well as some far-fetched theories about the Trailer 2 release date!

Even then, the only actual leak we’ve got about GTA 6 Trailer 2 – that the song Ring My Bell by Anita Ward would appear in it – now seems extremely unlikely!

GTA 6 Anita Ward Drama Explained

Eagle-eyed GTA fans spotted that classic R&B singer Anita Ward had her Spotify artist image changed to the GTA 6 logo, sparking theories that her hit song Ring My Bell would feature in the second trailer for the game. However, something seemed a little off.

While there’s no way of telling exactly what happened with Anita Ward’s Spotify account over the past three days, it seems very likely that it was hacked.

Changing a Spotify artist and header image to a game’s logo would be a very strange thing to do in general. However, it is even more strange as Anita Ward has no confirmed link to GTA 6 yet.

This, alongside her artist bio being changed to a poorly worded message hinting at an impending GTA 6 announcement, definitely points towards her Spotify account being hacked.

The images and messages probably came from someone who wanted to troll the GTA community and cause some speculation rather than Anita Ward’s team. Therefore, it seems unlikely that Ring My Bell will be in GTA 6 Trailer 2 – but never rule anything out!

This poorly worded statement has now been removed from Anita Ward’s Spotify page.

Hopefully, we get some official news from Rockstar Games soon. Clearly, fans are desperately searching for even the tiniest details about GTA 6!
