Yet another voice actor is in the spotlight, as fans believe that Jake Silbermann could be playing Jason in GTA 6.

Rockstar Games is being secretive with its casting of new GTA protagonists Lucia and Jason.

But there are few fanbases more devoted than the Grand Theft Auto community, and so we’ve seen plenty of speculation that could reveal who is playing our new main characters.

Personally, we think the latest Lucia voice actor theories could be right on the money. But with Jason, everything is a little less set in stone.

Jason Could Be Jake Silbermann, Fans Believe

The latest candidate for Jason’s voice actor in GTA 6 is none other than Jake Silbermann, an American actor best known for his role as Noah Mayer in As the World Turns.

Jake Silbermann has had smaller roles on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, The Blacklist, Person of Interest, The Good Wife, and more, but as of right now, he’s not a face that too many would recognize.

This tends to be the type of actor that Rockstar goes for when it comes to its protagonists, with the studio often looking to employ less famous faces.

Not only does the actor closely resemble Jason, which is particularly important given that Rockstar prefers to model the character after its chosen actor, but he also sounds extremely similar.

Although we’ve only officially heard Jason utter a single word, ‘trust,’ in GTA 6 Trailer 1, there have been a lot more examples of his voice in some of the game’s leaked dialogue.

Back in the September 2022 leaks, we heard a lot more of Jason’s voice, and user GameRoll on X has now directly compared Jake Silbermann to our male protagonist.

Personally, we’d say the likeness is extremely close!

Notably, Silbermann has worked with Rockstar Games already, playing Captain Lyndon Monroe in the recent Red Dead Redemption 2. This wouldn’t be the first time we’ve seen a supporting character’s actor return for a larger role with the studio.

For example, Jay Klaitz, the voice actor of GTA 5’s Lester, previously did some civilian voice-acting work for both GTA 4 and Red Dead Redemption before voicing the major character.

But for now, it’s important to take this discovery with a pinch of salt – particularly as Rockstar is yet to show much official footage of Jason.

And what’s more, there are still several other candidates that could be playing Jason in GTA 6.
