We’ve seen our fair share of GTA 6 Trailer recreations, but this live action remake of the game’s reveal has us more excited for the game than ever.

It’s been over three months since the release of GTA 6’s first trailer, and Grand Theft Auto fans have been growing restless.

Some fans have watched the first-look trailer footage an unhealthy number of times, and it’s beginning to show, based on our ventures into the game’s online forums.

But when just watching the trailer isn’t enough, a surprisingly large amount of people have set out to recreate it.

Live Action GTA 6 Trailer 1

The latest (and quite possibly greatest) recreation of the GTA 6 trailer was put together by DELTAGTA, a content creator known for their GTA-themed YouTube Shorts.

The user has meticulously edited together a selection of live action clips, in order to make a shot-for-shot remake of the iconic reveal of Grand Theft Auto 6.

And here’s a side-by-side with the official GTA 6 Trailer 1, so you can see just how close the remake is to the original material:

Many of the live action trailer shots show real-life Miami, the inspiration for Vice City, as well as other notable areas in Florida.

It’s clear as day that Rockstar Games took heavy inspiration from real-world locations when creating GTA 6, much like the developer did previously with Red Dead Redemption 2.

Areas such as the Miami Beach, Florida Keys, and even organizations such as the Redneck Mud Park all have incredibly faithful in-game representation.

And, of course, the trailer recreation also features the real-life ‘Florida Joker,’ a man who has threatened to sue Rockstar for supposedly using his likeness in-game ever since the trailer dropped.

The origins of other viral trailer references, such as the Hammer Lady, car rooftop shenanigans, and alligators in swimming pools, also make an appearance.

What’s also notable is that the trailer remake replaces the opening shot of Lucia with actress Manni L. Perez.

Considering that Perez is currently the GTA community’s best guess at who is playing the game’s female protagonist, this might turn out to be an extremely astute substitution.

How Did GTA Fans React?

Despite the fact that the GTA 6 real life trailer only has a couple of hundred views on YouTube at the time of this article’s writing, it’s certainly blowing up with the game’s online community.

Over on the GTA 6 subreddit, which recently hit one million members well in advance of the title’s release, the post is already one of the top submissions of the last month.

It’s true that our first look at Grand Theft Auto 6 showed off some of the most photorealistic graphics we’ve ever seen in a video game.

But some users think the showcase went a step above reality and looks somehow better than even this real-life recreation!

“Real life looks worse than the game somehow,” user Entrinity writes.

And it seems they’re not the only user to think that way, seeing as AnyAtmosphere420 agrees that “real life don’t look half as good as GTA VI.”

One thing’s for sure; fans desperately need a new GTA 6 trailer to drop ASAP. But unfortunately, our estimations predict that GTA 6 Trailer 2 might not arrive until December!

In the meantime, we can look forward to seeing many more fanmade content including this GTA 6 trailer recreated in Minecraft.
