The Police Chief is a law enforcement officer that features in GTA 6.
The Chief, whose name is not yet confirmed, is first shown during a police raid on a seemingly empty building in Trailer 2. It is unclear if he represents the Vice-Dale Police Department, or another Leonida law enforcement agency.
In the next scene, he is shown talking to an unknown individual, stating that cops need to protect one another.
Despite the Police Chief's high standing within the precinct, it appears that he's dedicated to getting the job done - to the point that he is prepared to enter the field and lead his team directly.
Given that the police are shown pursuing the GTA 6 protagonists multiple times in both Trailer 1 and 2, it's likely that the Police Chief will have a run-in with 
Vice-Dale Police Department
