The tobacco company first featured in GTA: San Andreas, returning in almost every Grand Theft Auto title since its introduction.

The brand was confirmed to return in Trailer 2, where a sticker advertisement for the cigarettes can be seen in the door of a convenience store.

Redwood Cigarettes are seen heavily through the franchise, in stores, advertising, and racing vehicle liveries.

In GTA Online, players can purchase the cigarettes and smoke them at any time - which will very slightly damage their health.

Redwood is often seen advertising to 'manly' men, featuring attractive women or muscle cars in their marketing while using slogans as "Be a real man. Smoke Redwood."

Redwood Gold is a gold-filtered variant of the standard cigarettes, which appear to be a response to vaping's rise in popularity. Its slogan is "Vaping is for losers - Real men go for gold."

Redwood Cigarettes appears to be influenced by real-world cigarette brands Marlboro and Winston, which each use similar red and white packets.
