Misfire Games is a video game development studio that appears in GTA 6.
The developer was introduced in GTA 5, later returning in GTA Online. However, it has seemingly been active in the Grand Theft Auto universe for many years.
The company was confirmed to reappear in GTA 6 with the release of Trailer 1. In the game's debut trailer, the High Rollerz Mag Guy can be seen wearing a T-shirt sporting the logo for a never-before-seen Righteous Slaughter title.
Misfire Games has previously been established as the developer of Righteous Slaughter, a first-person shooter franchise inspired by Call of Duty.
However, given that COD has multiple development teams working on its annual releases, the company has no direct real-world counterpart.
Although the company has not been spotted in-game just yet, the return of Righteous Slaughter indicates that it is making a return.
Although the T-shirt game's name is partially obscured, the title appears to be called Righteous Slaughter: Blood Ops, an obvious parody of Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Previously, multiple Righteous Slaughter titles have been referenced throughout the series. In GTA 5, multiple characters are seen playing Righteous Slaughter 7.
Given the fact that over a decade has passed between GTA 5 and 6, there are likely multiple new entries in the FPS franchise.
The Misfire Games logo features a revolver with the barrel bent backwards.
