The business first debuted back in GTA 4, where it could be seen on the in-game website 'Peep That Shit.' In GTA Online, Backside Skateboards clothing, such as skate shoes and an off-the-shoulder top, could be purchased and worn by characters.
Backside Skateboards has also appeared as a sponsor on a variety of racing vehicle liveries.

So far, skateboarding is not confirmed to appear in GTA 6, which likely means that Backside Skateboards will simply be a clothing brand once again.
The company's logo features a skateboarding buttocks with an injury covered by adhesive bandages. The word "backside" can also refer to a skateboarding movement.
