The Mottled Duck is a medium-sized duck that is native to peninsular Florida, as well as other coastal areas along the Gulf Coast.
The bird was first revealed in Trailer 1, where it is shown living in an area that resembles the Everglades.
It is likely that the Mottled Duck will be present in Leonida's swampland, as well as anywhere rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water are located. Since they are non-migratory, expect them to be present in their respective habitats, no matter the in-game season.
These birds also have slight differences based on their sex. Male Mottled Ducks have bright yellow bills, whereas females have orange coloring, with black splotches.
