The Heron is a bird that can be found around the State of Leonida in GTA 6.
The bird first appeared in Trailer 1, where a siege of Herons are shown flying over the prison grounds. However, we never get a closer look at the large birds, which means we can't identify the type of Heron at this moment in time.
Most likely, GTA 6's Herons are Great Blue Herons, one of the most common Herons present in Florida (on which Leonida is based).
The state is also home to the Great White Heron, found prominently in South Florida and the Keys. This all-white variant is thought to be a variant of the Great Blue Heron, though some researchers believe it to be its own species entirely.
