The Brown Pelican is a bird that can be spotted in GTA 6, first appearing in the opening of Trailer 1.
Brown Pelicans are commonly seen around Florida (on which Leonida is based), particularly in coastal areas. However, they are also known to nest in more secluded areas, such as mangrove forests.
In Trailer 1, Brown Pelicans are accurately shown to travel in flocks.
Florida is also home to the Pelican Island National Wildlife Refuge - a small island that became the first National Wildlife Refuge in the United States, with the aim of protecting birds such as the Brown Pelican from hunters.
Whether or not Rockstar Games has included this island in its map of Leonida, we'll have to wait and see. However, we doubt it's high up the list of priorities.
